Arman Vajic - The Visual Guru - ( BIO )

 

Bosnian-born Arman Zajic was only five years old when war broke out in his country. To escape the fighting, he and his family fled first to Germany then to the United States where they settled permanently. At aged eight, speaking no English, Arman quickly adapted to his new life in his adoptive country of America and discovered a passion for acting.

He joined the Barbizon of San Franciso, a school specialising in acting and modeling, before going on to compete in the International Modeling Talent Association where he won several awards. Soon thereafter he secured a talent manager and officially began pursuing his acting career after moving to Los Angeles in early 2004. Since then, Arman has been the subject of a documentary chronicling his dream of becoming an actor, 'From Battlefield to Box Office' and landed a co-starring role in 'The Toast', an improv-based short directed by Kevin McDermott and now making the rounds on the festival circuit. He is also clinched a role in the 2005 war film _Jarhead_ (qv.
